Come Visit Us In Ojai

So, we just bought this new house in Ojai. It's not that we didn't like our old house. It's just that we always knew we would be going somewhere else. This time we don't feel that way. We like that. We feel very fortunate and want to share our happiness with our friends and coworkers, and then maybe they'll understand why we choose to live in Shangra La.

Bring: Your video camera (we'll show you new and exciting ways to use it), your spouse, your kids, your portable chairs, food and drinks to share

Don't Bring: Your dog (we like dogs, its just that we have 5 cats)

We know its a long way to come, but you really should just come, relax and make a day of it. We are within close walking distance to the Ventura River Preserve, which has some very pretty hiking and riding trails. We are less than 5 minutes from Lake Casitas, which has camping, boat rentals and a water park for the kids. Downtown Ojai (population 8,120 or so) with its day spas, art galleries, park, antiques, botiques, public golfing, restaurants and shopping arcade is also less than 5 minutes away.
